Offset printing

Offset printing is much more advanced than digital printing. In the offset printing technique, the ink is transferred by rubber-coated cylinders from aluminium plates to the substrate. The plates are created in a CTP platesetter, separately for each colour from the CMYK palette, and additionally for white and Pantone colours. Each cylinder is responsible for transferring points of the image with a different component colour. All the colours put together create the final image. Contrary to digital printing, the preparation of an offset press takes a lot of time and requires considerable expense. Therefore, offset printing is economic with high-volume projects, because as the volume increases, the unit price decreases exponentially.

Offset technique ensures very high print quality and accurate colour reproduction. Moreover, it offers a wider colour palette - we can get golden, silver or other colours from the Pantone palette, which is very important for complex graphical projects. The offset technique allows us to print on various materials, including more rigid, thicker substrates and larger formats.

Offset printing is an ideal solution for high-volume orders of identical copies, when we need a large format or a non-standard substrate, as well as in case of complex and demanding publications.
