PRINT on lens film

Lens printing is our specialty. The use of this printing technique opens up wide possibilities for creating next-generation marketing tools. Our years of experience enable us to realize the various visions of our clients that would not be achievable without lens film.

With 3D printing, we can achieve a range of different effects:

  • 3D - the effect of spatiality and depth, allows you to 'pull out' an element from a flat surface.
  • Flip - a jump change from one image to another. The motifs are visible alternately depending on the viewing angle in the 'left-right' or 'up-down' directions.
  • Morphing - a smooth, gradual transition from one image to another.
  • Zoom - the illusion of zooming in and out of objects, somewhat resembling animation.
  • Animation - the effect of smooth movement without the use of electronics. It consists of the blending of sequences of images, giving the illusion of motion. The change can occur in the 'up-down' direction.
What is lens printing?
Lens printing is a technology that combines a properly prepared image with a specialized film on which lenses are embossed. The finished image usually consists of two or more different graphics that blend into each other when viewed from the correct angle. To achieve the desired effect, the lenses must be precisely matched to the image. Knowledge of specialized software is essential for preparing the graphics.

The operation of the lenses can be compared to a magnifying glass – they magnify the part of the image located under the film. Changing the angle of inclination causes a change in the image under the lenses, resulting in an effect of motion or depth. If the lenses are parallel to both eyes of the observer, they see only one image at a given viewing angle. If the observer looks at the lenses perpendicularly, each eye will see a different image. Thanks to this property, it is possible to achieve a 3D effect.
3D printing is very often used in the preparation of marketing gadgets. We use it, among other things, to print mouse pads, bookmarks, postcards, greeting cards, or promotional magnets.
